Re-branding myself in my early retirement
I am Christine Wood currently of Santa Cruz, California and formerly Fremont for over 30 years and originally from Greater London UK. I keep up a gardening blog among a couple others which are listed on the side bar of this blog.
I 'retired' from my career in marketing and engineering in the semiconductor industry. I ran a successful and award winning video production and post production company focusing on the tech industry, and held a copyright on software I co-developed and sold to the tech industry. Now, I think I have successfully re-branded myself to personal financial manager, DIY diva, gardener and very independent mountain lady!
During my working years I had some fun too, I was also a flight attendant on a helicopter airlines, a health spa instructor, held a real estate license, appeared on the cover of a Japanese tech magazine, in print ads in Semiconductor International Magazine and also on a billboard outside of San Francisco. Was featured in ads and promos for garden equipment too! My life and career has been diverse, looking back I enjoyed all of it thoroughly.

2005 to present - Sole Owner/Trustee and Property Manager - small acreage ownership and maintenance. Hi-net worth investment portfolio management. Some of my holdings include Apple, Facebook, Disney, Nike, Monsanto, Clorox, Starbucks, Tesla, etc. Good past performance and dividend yield is what I seek in the portfolio which consistently out performs the S.P500 year after year.

ISO9000 Lead Auditor. Cleanroom Fab assistant, Purchasing Agent, Hazmat trained. Recognition for graphics expertise, data analysis and database design. Tradeshow rep, Moscone Center San Francisco.
1994 Founder/Owner and operator of Pacific Digital Presentations - a state of the art digital video and post production company focusing on new product intros for the Silicon Valley, documentaries and film. Graphics, website design and maintenance. Some clients; Surface Interface, California Micro Devices, Zycad, Ultracision, American West Furniture, Dawson Productions (post production for "Paint Me A Dream" which won an award.)

Co-Developer of the Quote Master System an automated graphic software for the semiconductor capital equipment market, which included quotations and factory orders documents for the sales force to present to major customers such as Intel and AMD. The software won a company, and money award.
